Sarah Routhier from Rare and Saul Smith from Soul Drummer invite all to come together on Sunday 8 December 2025 for Dāna Devotion, a special donation-based class that will raise funds for the Salvation Army – helping support families in need over the holidays.
In Sanskrit, Dāna means to give from a place of love and, in the spirit of bhakti yoga, this practice provides space for us to gather as a community, chant sacred mantras, invoke the energies of deities through song and storytelling, and use gentle movement, to lift the heart and soul.
100% of your $25 entry fee will go to the Salvation Army, along with donations of non-perishable food and gifts placed in our collection boxes in the month prior to the event. Please check the links here for guidance on the groceries and gifts that are needed most.
